Responsibilities
Responsible for the team and their ability to support the objectives of the product squad, focused on developing and maintaining external partner integrations, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and efficient solutions.
Ensure engineers are working closely with Product and Design in discovery and the work is effectively transitioned through delivery, keeping an eye on the quality and maintainability of codebases.
Act as a primary technical point of contact for external partners, providing strategic guidance and ensuring successful technical alignment.
Work closely with engineering, product, and design teams to define and deliver technical requirements for these strategic partnerships.
Drive the design and implementation of APIs, SDKs, and other integration tools to facilitate seamless collaboration with partner technologies.
Champion the product operating model by using a variety of qualitative and quantitative tools to discover solutions that are valuable for customers and the business.
Take a hands-on approach to delivery management, ensuring the backlog is healthy, maintenance and tech debt work are scheduled, and work is broken down appropriately, in a timely manner.
Run agile sprint ceremonies and coach others to do the same.
Ensure everyone on the team feels engaged in the process and empowered to suggest necessary work and ways to improve.
Coach and support a team of skilled engineers through weekly one-on-ones, building trust and delivering feedback with kind candor.

Required
6+ years experience leading an engineering team in the Product Operating Model as an Engineering Manager or Technical Lead, quickly validating hypotheses through a range of testing tactics
Strong foundation in A/B testing-based product iterations
Experience leading consumer-facing development work focused on native iOS and Android apps using Agile principles and Scrum methodologies
Ability to identify collaboration opportunities with external partners to drive innovation and enhance product offerings
A track record of collaborative partnership with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to plan, execute, and deliver projects
Enjoys helping other teammates grow through mentorship and coaching
Have knowledge of common patterns and software engineering and best practices
Have experience working with high traffic, scalable mobile applications
Have a strong bias to action and proven ability to make decisions quickly using a variety of inputs
Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field, or equivalent real-world experience
