Responsibilities
Evaluates healthcare specific classified and administrative & professional staff jobs using Point Factor and Market Pricing methodology.
Analyzes job descriptions for FLSA exemption status, internal equity, and external competitiveness against salary surveys data.
Reviews salary ranges and maintains records on the validity of the evaluations.
Prepares cost analysis associated with pay adjustments or pay program initiatives.
Administers merit and applicable incentive programs.
Provides advice and guidance to HR department consultants regarding compensation initiatives.
Participates in annual review of pay practices and trends of external market data and participates in development of compensation recommendations in response to market changes.
Participates in salary surveys and supports and maintains Comp Analyst market pricing tool.
Assists in the development and implementation of compensation programs, dashboards, and related reports.
Coordinates special projects and supports leadership in identifying and resolving compensation issues.
Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.
Other related duties as assigned.

Required
Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field.
Three (3) years Compensation, Accounting, Financial Analysis, Human Resources, or Payroll Experience, at least one of which in the healthcare industry.
SPHR and CCP certification.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Professionalism.

Knowledge of relevant laws/statues impacting employee compensation.
Interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Understanding of the customer’s business and current issues.
Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work.
Preferred
Previous experience in a hospital, health system, academic medical center, or health-related industry.
Expert functional user experience with Workday HCM.
Intermediate Level of Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio and Access.
Certified Compensation Analyst Certification (CCP) from WorldatWork.
