Responsibilities

Reviews residential and commercial plans, specifications and engineering calculations for building components to ensure compliance with applicable codes.
Provides recommendations regarding interpretations of City, State, Federal, and Construction standards, as well as local ordinances.
Maintains records of plan review activities, drafts review memos detailing plan deficiencies including applicable code sections and enters details into permitting software.

PA UCC certificationsPlan review experienceProfessional relationship management

Required

High School Diploma and a willingness to continue training.
Multiple PA UCC plans examiner certifications and experience in reviewing commercial plans for compliance
Demonstrated skills in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
Proven, effective communication skills and ability to work remotely and with limited supervision.
Ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships with Isett associates and our clients.

Preferred

Experience in conducting plan reviews
Strong communication skills
