Responsibilities

Establish & manage overall strategy roadmap for trading platforms and ensure connectivity

Identify all platforms used by Mariner entities and/or advisors and their related purpose

Work with operations, practice management, investments to understand overall utilization of key partners

Work cross-functionally to develop workflows with specific platform providers for Wealth teams

Develop & manage service level agreements with all platforms

Act as a point of escalation for internal and wealth teams related to the platforms

Create an evaluation/due diligence scoring system

Work with investment due diligence teams to evaluate platforms related to inorganic target opportunities

Desire to leverage best in class tools to enhance advisor experience, streamline operations and create greater efficiency

Develop communication plan for platform roll out and related training enhancements

Source/Evaluate new offerings & platforms to support Mariner growth targets

Work closely with Investment Management, Operations, Practice Management, Technology and other Mariner teams

Assist with special projects as needed

Required

5+ years in wealth management, fintech, or related field

Undergraduate degree in business-related field required

Strong understanding of asset management operations and trading

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Problem solving and critical thinking ability

Strong Professional Presence

Highly organized with strong analytical skills

Positive attitude / quick learner / self-starter

Adapt to a fast-pace, changing environment.

High change management aptitude

Able to handle multiple tasks with appropriate sense of urgency

Preferred

Investment/finance experience preferred, and working at RIA a plus

Interest in strategic planning, coordination, and fintech platform operations preferred

Familiarity with fintech investment providers (e.g. Orion, BlackDiamond, Blaze, Charles River, CAIS, Order Management, Cash Management, TAMPs, etc.)
