Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly financial reports.
• Assist with tax preparation and filings, ensuring compliance with relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
• Assist in tracking investments, capital calls, and distributions related to private equity portfolios.
• Track cash flow and support cash flow forecasting to assist in financial planning.
• Support month-end close processes, including preparing necessary adjustments and reconciliations.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of financial processes and procedures.
• Provide financial insights and analysis as requested by senior management.

Required
1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance
Basic understanding of tax compliance and preparation for federal and state filings
Proficiency in accounting software (Ex. QuickBooks, Xero) and strong Excel skills
Highly organized with strong attention to accuracy and the ability to manage multiple tasks
Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to provide straightforward financial updates
Ability to work independently with a flexible schedule that adapts to project needs
Preferred
Exposure to private equity or investment management
