Responsibilities

Handle a variety of automotive and general litigation cases, including personal injury, premises liability, and coverage litigation.

Engage in legal research and prepare various litigation documents.

Investigate facts and engage with experts.

Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.

Manage entire case files with autonomy while collaborating with partners.

Participate in trial activities and second chair trials.

Required

Current, active license to practice law in New Jersey

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in civil litigation including drafting pleadings, motion practice, written discovery, depositions, pretrial activities and other facets of the litigation process

Ability to analyze sophisticated and complex factual and legal issues

Excellent legal-research, writing, and advocacy skills

Ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines

Strong interpersonal and presentation skills

Proven ability to produce top quality work

A willingness to be proactive and take ownership of projects and assignments, but also be able to work within a team structure when needed
