Responsibilities
Create and implement a strategic retail plan that supports our transition from DTC to retail, including market analysis, competitive positioning, and channel selection.
Drive revenue growth by developing sales targets and performance metrics, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners, negotiating terms, promotions, and placements to maximize product visibility and sales.
Oversee the development and execution of effective merchandising strategies that enhance product presentation and drive consumer engagement in-store.
Work with our Customer Insights team to conduct ongoing market research to identify trends, opportunities, and consumer preferences, using insights to inform product offerings and marketing strategies.
Work closely with marketing, research and innovation, go-to-market, and supply chain teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging and optimal inventory management—champion excellence in delivering the best experience for our retail partners and customers.
Build and lead a high-performance retail team, providing mentorship, training, and development to ensure operational excellence and employee engagement.
Establish objectives and key results (OKRs) to monitor retail performance, analyze sales data, and generate actionable insights for continuous improvement.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field or commiserate experience.
8+ years of experience in retail management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience in the health and wellness or CPG brand is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of retail operations, sales strategies, and consumer behavior.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution and problem-solving.
Outstanding ability to define goals and prioritize team’s work in an evolving and fast-paced environment.
Ability to balance big-picture strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Natural demonstration of ownership, growth mindset, continuous learning and improvement.
Adaptability and speed in a high growth environment.
Acute attention to detail and accuracy with desire to take ownership in a results-oriented environment.
