Responsibilities
Act as a subject matter expert in backend architecture patterns, AWS services, and software library management
Expand internal SDKs to cover common patterns and drive adoption across teams
Standardize network infrastructure across environments, ensuring security and observability
Develop and maintain reusable infrastructure components to enforce best practices AWS resource utilization
Participate in an on-call rotation and the incident response process, continuously improving processes and tools
Develop and maintain tools to enhance reliability, security, and performance of the platform

Required
Experience developing and maintaining public-facing APIs using languages like NodeJS, Python, Java, Golang, or Rust
Expertise in creating internal libraries to implement patterns like reliable queuing, caching, etc.
Proficient in building Terraform modules, Helm charts, or similar tools to streamline the use of complex platforms like AWS or Kubernetes
Knowledge of core network infrastructure that supports communication between services
Experience monitoring and responding to alerts to ensure system health and stability
Proven ability to serve as a technical expert in designing scalable backend systems
