Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required specifications.
Identify areas for process improvement in manufacturing operations; implement Lean, Six Sigma, or other efficiency methodologies to optimize production.
Collaborate with R&D, quality assurance, and production teams to facilitate the development and integration of new products and manufacturing technologies.
Oversee the selection, installation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, ensuring it meets quality and performance standards.
Develop and manage the engineering budget, allocate resources effectively, and ensure cost-efficiency in all engineering operations.
Ensure all engineering projects and processes comply with local, state, and federal regulations, and support a safe work environment for all employees.
Work closely with other departments, including Quality Assurance, Operations, and Supply Chain, to streamline processes and address any manufacturing challenges.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation, problem-solving, and proactive quality management.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field); Master’s degree is a plus.
7+ years in engineering within the manufacturing industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Proficiency in CAD software, knowledge of manufacturing processes, and familiarity with automation and production technologies.
Proven experience in managing teams, excellent communication skills, and a track record of motivating team members.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Solid understanding of industry regulations and safety standards.
Preferred
Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred.
