Responsibilities
Automating deployment workflows with Shell/Python and Saltstack/Argo CD
Collaborating on the roadmap for critical enterprise features expected from a public managed Kubernetes platform
Deploying Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform
Developing monitoring solutions based on Prometheus metrics and Grafana dashboards.
Defining reliability requirements and performance metrics for Akamai's cloud computing infrastructure
Collaborating in CI/CD pipeline ensuring a safe and reliable release cycle.

Required
8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or its equivalent
Professional experience in a Site Reliability, Development, or Systems Engineering role, with large scale distributed systems
Hands on experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki or similar
Extensive experience with configuration management at scale using Saltstack, Ansible, or Terraform
Deep experience building Kubernetes Platform Clusters with scale and Cloud Native technologies
Extensive experience with more than one programming language such as Python, Golang, and Bash
Familiarity with software development practices and product life cycles through build, test, deploy, and iterative environments
