Responsibilities

Architectural Design : Develop scalable and resilient cloud architectures that leverage GCP services to meet business and technical requirements.
Cloud Strategy : Lead cloud adoption and migration strategies, and provide guidance on best practices and optimizations for GCP.
Security and Compliance : Implement GCP security best practices, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee security operations in the cloud.
Performance Tuning and Optimization : Continuously monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and reliability.
Automation and CI/CD : Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, and integrate CI/CD pipelines to support efficient deployments.
Collaboration and Leadership : Partner with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps, data engineers, and business stakeholders, to implement effective solutions.
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing : Document architectural decisions, maintain cloud architecture diagrams, and lead training sessions to share best practices with the team.

Required

Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud architecture and at least 3 years specifically on GCP.
Proficiency in GCP services (Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, etc.), Terraform, CI/CD tools, and Linux/Windows administration.
Strong knowledge of GCP security, IAM, VPC, network security, and data protection practices.
Proficiency in Python, Java, or other relevant programming languages.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex cloud concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred

Google Cloud Professional Architect Certification or equivalent preferred.
