Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's cloud-based systems and infrastructure, ensuring effective design of business processes in the cloud.
Work with a variety of different technologies including virtualization software, storage platforms, networking equipment, etc. to build out robust and reliable cloud computing environments that meet the needs of the organization.
Configure cloud infrastructure components like networking and security services.
Responsible for planning and executing the organization's cloud projects and ensuring the organization's cloud infrastructure's reliability, scalability, and security.
Provide software updates on-demand to perform seamless data storage and backup.
Work with various cloud technologies, platforms, and deployment models (public, private, hybrid) and services (e.g., IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
Assist in development of cloud strategy and selection of the cloud deployment model and cloud service model used, dependent upon existing IT investments, business requirements, and the outcomes the organization is hoping to achieve.
Upgrade cloud-based systems to improve operations and protect against data breaches and cybersecurity threats.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, implement best practices for cloud security and cost optimization, and stay updated with the latest advancements in cloud technologies.
Develop strategies for disaster management and recovery.
Migrate existing pipelines to a newly built AWS infrastructure.
Create configurations referring to the existing architecture and design.
Migrate all logs stored in the repository.

Required

Minimum 6 years of IT cloud or development experience
Proficiency in reading and comprehending architecture and design requirement documents
Expertise in developing AWS Lambdas, Step Functions, and S3 ECS using Python to construct data pipelines
Expertise in writing deployment code (Infrastructure as Code) for AWS Lambda, Step Functions, Transfer Service, AWS IAM roles, and policies
Experience in working within a multi-developer environment, such as GitHub
Ability to integrate the code deployment pipeline with GitHub using branch automations
Proficiency in working with AWS and Azure serverless technologies
Competence in utilizing GitHub features, such as Wiki, for documentation to create design, implementation, and maintenance documents
Proficiency in writing code for data transformations using Python packages such as Pandas, Numpy, and others
Capability to collaborate effectively with other team members, including Product Owners, Architects, and Developers
Competence in working with Azure services such as Azure Blob Storage, Azure Automation, EventHub, and DataPipeline
Experience in operating within an Agile Kanban work environment
Required Software Experience: Azure Cloud, Windows Server OS, Terraform / OpenTofu (IaC), PowerShell, Command Line, Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Visio), Azure DevOps with experience in Deployment PIPELINES and Source Code Control

Preferred

AWS Developer Associate or AWS DevOps Professional Certifications
Advanced knowledge of Cloud Operations
Infrastructure-as-Code experience. Terraform, CloudFormation, Git, Ansible, etc.
Hands-on experience with modern computing platforms. E.g., Docker, Serverless, Function apps/lambda, etc.
Experience developing solutions in large Azure and AWS enterprise deployments
Experience working in and developing automated solutions cloud environments
AWS IAM Security Profile experience
The ability to Integrate workflow from ServiceNow via API to Initiate automation Is of special Interest
Use of KanBan or Agile as a method of managing deliverables
Data Visualization
Knowledge of existing technologies that will be impacted by this initiative
