Responsibilities

Managing a portfolio of 150-250 customer accounts with the objective of ensuring consistent on-time payment from our customers. Daily collection efforts via email and telephone will be necessary.

Answering timely, all incoming customer inquiries regarding invoices and open/closed AR balances.

Monitoring of customer remittance details, reviewing payment details against open AR balances and supporting the Cash Application team as requested.

Managing of a daily blocked order report, reviewing open orders against the accounts’ credit limits and balances each day with the goal of minimizing risk to Bakelite.

Developing strong relationships with the Bakelite Commercial Sales and Customer Service teams. Using these relationships to navigate potential customer growth while focusing on risk mitigation will occur often.

Presenting data from Excel/BI in collaboration calls with internal teams.

Analysis and assessment of the credit worthiness of potential new customers, completing and documenting the manual credit risk assessment as required.

Participation in automated collection efforts, E.g. Dunning, automated statements, late payer notifications.
