Responsibilities

Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with department heads and development team leadership to design, implement, and support both internal and client-facing sites and services, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.
Contribute to Strategic Planning: Partner with development leadership to establish priorities and create roadmaps, balancing technical requirements with project goals.
Adapt and Support as Needed: Take on additional responsibilities as assigned, contributing flexibly to team objectives and ensuring smooth project execution.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, engineering, or comparable experience.
Proven work experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer.
Experience designing interactive applications.
Experience developing web applications using at least one popular web framework.
Experience with test-driven development.
Python, Ruby, or similar.
Javascript.
SQL and relational database modeling, ORM experience is a bonus.
Any operations experience, Linux desktop/server, networking, etc.

Preferred

Elm or other functional language experience is great, but we expect to be teaching on this one.

$750 first year then $500 per year towards a work from home office set up. (All office equipment bought with that allowance is yours to keep)
