Responsibilities

Lead the management of GoDaddy’s foreign exchange hedging programs, minimizing currency fluctuation
Identify and analyze FX exposures from different departments and develop suitable hedging strategies
Maintain a strong FX forecasting process and carry out FX transactions to effectively manage exposures
Provide critical foreign exchange funding for operations through hedging tools and natural hedges
Offer guidance and strategic mentorship on balance sheet exposures, develop and implement foreign exchange (FX) strategies, collaborate closely with accounting teams, and complete FX strategies effectively
Reassess the company’s cash flow at risk to build out a hedging program including forecast accuracy assessment, cost of hedging, tenor, volatility and changes to business strategy
Develop and interpret advanced financial models to support capital markets transactions
Lead the execution of capital markets transactions, including financings, and hedging/derivatives strategies
Advise on efficient capital structure, capital allocation strategies, and related financing options
Coordinate the management and execution of the Share Repurchase Program, including developing and refining share price models and intrinsic value models for strategic capital return decisions
Identify and manage interest rate risks and other financial risks, recommending and completing risk mitigation strategies
Assist in crafting and validating treasury presentations for the Board, ensuring clear communication of financial data and strategies to support executive decision-making
Lead the automation and optimization of treasury functions, bringing to bear advanced technologies and data-driven tools to streamline operations, decrease manual processes, and improve efficiency
Lead the implementation of new software and products for Treasury operations, ensuring successful project execution and alignment with business objectives
Lead all aspects of compliance with debt covenants and internal policies, ensuring alignment with audit requirements and automation
Monitor macroeconomic and financial market trends to advise on strategic financial decisions
Develop, update, and conduct annual reviews of treasury policies to ensure ongoing compliance and alignment with regulatory standards
Assist with the quarterly review of the 10-Q to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial details and disclosures
Build, develop, and mentor a high-performing treasury team, ensuring team members reach their potential and align with business needs
Lead all aspects of recruiting, developing, and retaining talent in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Build an outstanding environment of automation, continuous improvement, innovation, and ethical leadership within the treasury team

Required

12+ years confirmed experience in FX, capital markets, corporate finance, or related fields
Strong communication skills required to explain financial concepts and strategies to collaborators with different knowledge levels, ensuring clarity and alignment across teams
Demonstrated financial modeling expertise, with a solid understanding of accounting and forecasting concepts, and the capability to build extensive financial projections
Proficiency in corporate BI systems (Workday, Quantum, AltlasFX, Bloomberg, Reval preferred)
A deep understanding of corporate finance, hedge accounting, and FX principles, with demonstrated ability to apply them in practice
