Responsibilities
Develop and maintain robust back-end systems using Java Spring Boot
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes
Write clean, scalable code and perform debugging to ensure optimal performance
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members
Work within a Linux environment to deploy and manage applications effectively
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continually enhance development practices
Qualification
Required
Minimum 7+ years of IT experience
Minimum of five (5+) years of coding experience in Java and related technologies
Ability to write simple and complex SQL Queries
Demonstrated experience of over 5 years in Java Spring Boot with strong conceptual knowledge of UI development
A solid understanding of Core Java Concepts such as Object-Oriented Programming, Java Collections API, Exception Handling, Multi-Threading
Very good understanding of JEE Concepts, Architecture and Technologies
Demonstrated technical knowledge of Linux operating systems
Demonstrated technical knowledge of web and other Internet servers, such as Apache and Tomcat
Experience with database development (RDBMS and No-SQL)
Should be very familiar with complex SQL queries
Ability to understand and address complex problems and systems
Ability to learn new technologies and new languages independently
Ability to function proactively and understand problems from a broad, interactive perspective
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to relocate to Livonia, MI 48152 before starting work
Preferred
System administration knowledge, including the management of Jenkins, Zookeeper/Kafka, Docker, Mongo, Redis, etc
