Responsibilities

Provide oversight to ensure high quality service at an acceptable cost. Achieve performance expectations as set for customers, distribution, and business units. Ensure operations comply with all laws, regulations and meet the standards of Principal. Direct and allocate resources to support workflow and processes.
Select, lead and coach staff to further their development and utilize their capabilities. This includes hiring, training, performance management and salary administration. Provide ongoing feedback for improvement. Promote business literacy and competency development; encourage ownership, accountability, risk, creativity, decision making and results. Create an environment which values other’s contributions and inspires trust and respect between team members. Disseminate information regarding decisions, plans and activities. Celebrate success of individuals and team. Take appropriate and timely disciplinary action.
Use responsible risk management. This includes proactively identifying potential business risks and creating appropriate solutions. Also, includes oversight and reporting of various controls, including SOX, internal audits, and other monitoring (at corporate and department level). Ensure appropriate segregation of duties is in place (including security access). Responsible for the Operations team budgets.
Continuously evaluate the business model recommending and implementing changes as needed to adapt to changing department, business unit and customer needs.
Stay abreast of business developments. Cope effectively with all issues and changes and act as champion for business changes. Participate in decision making team/business issues. Have cross functional knowledge of key processes. Partner with other leaders to stay current on initiatives and compensation plans. Ensure ongoing communication to team members.
Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 6-8 years of related experience of which 3-5 years must be in a leadership role
Basic PC and keyboarding skills
Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and have a strong foundation of the Leader Competencies
Some travel required
