Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable, maintainable, and efficient software solutions using Java, Spring Boot, SQL Server, and other relevant technologies.
Lead the development of new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
Conduct code reviews to ensure high code quality and adherence to best practices.
Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable PaaS solutions.
Contribute to architectural decisions and software system designs.
Collaborate with the architecture team to ensure the scalability, performance, and security of applications.
Apply expertise in Java, Spring Boot, SQL Server, and AWS PaaS services.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, assessing their applicability.
Use your knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL to design and maintain efficient database structures.
Optimize SQL queries for performance and reliability.
Implement GIT best practices using Bitbucket for version control.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or 7+ years of related experience.
Proven experience as a Lead Java Engineer with mentoring capabilities.
7+ years of Java development experience.
3+ years of experience building solutions using AWS PaaS and utilizing AWS Lambda functions.
Demonstrated experience in delivering enterprise-grade, scalable, and reliable software solutions.
Experience with CI/CD practices and RESTful API development.
Understanding of agile development methodologies and experience working in an agile environment.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred

Expertise in Platform as a Service (PaaS), AWS, Microsoft SQL Server, SQL, API Development, Spring Boot, Bitbucket, and GIT best practices.
Experience with optimizing SQL queries for performance and reliability.
Knowledge of T-SQL to design and maintain efficient database structures.
