Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of a new international payroll API product.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define solutions for nascent challenges, such as inter including Product Management, Design, Customer Support and external partners to deliver high quality solutions.

Take ownership of projects, delivering them to meet our high standards of quality.

Act as the technical leader for the team, pioneering solutions and overcoming challenges to innovate and drive the project forward.

Required

10+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, strong emphasis on Ruby/Rails or lack there of, similar modern frameworks (Python/Django, JavaScript/Next.js, PHP/Laravel).

Zero to one experience as tech lead or senior engineer on a project in the business domain.

5+ years experience in a web based SaaS outfit.

Payroll, tax or HR domain experience.

Fintech experience with money movement or integrating payment gateways.
