Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and manage a team of Regional Sales Managers and Sales Representatives, providing coaching, training, and guidance to achieve individual and team sales targets.
Set clear performance expectations, monitor progress, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
Foster a collaborative and results-oriented sales culture within the team.
Develop and implement a comprehensive national sales strategy that aligns with company goals.
Identify growth opportunities and market segments and formulate strategies to penetrate and expand market share.
Identify and establish relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders within the industry.
Lead negotiations for major contracts and deals, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
Continuously seek new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends and competitors.
Oversee the sales pipeline, forecasting, and reporting to the executive team.
Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Collaborate with the marketing/e-commerce team to develop effective sales collateral, presentations, and promotional materials.
Provide insights from the field to inform marketing strategies and product development.
Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to achieve sales targets.
Monitor expenses and cost control measures to maximize profitability.
Work closely with operations, purchasing, and customer service teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with other departments to align sales efforts with overall company objectives.

Required
Minimum of 7 years of progressive sales experience.
Proven track record of successfully leading and managing sales teams to achieve and exceed targets.
Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Strong business acumen, market knowledge, and strategic thinking.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in SAP, Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to travel nationally as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
Results-driven mindset with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
