Responsibilities
Write code in Typescript, React, and Next.js to develop our front end systems
Write code in Kotlin to develop our back end systems
Communicate clearly with our business and product partners to better understand their requirements, and then help plan, scope, and execute upon them
Be an advocate for best practices around testing, design, observability, etc. to maintain the long-term quality and stability of the platform
Collaborate with, learn from, and teach others on the team about languages, tooling, techniques, etc.

Required
4+ years of software engineering or relevant experience
Proficiency in programming with Typescript and React
Proficiency in programming with Kotlin or similar languages (e.g. Java, C#)
Experience with databases (PostgreSQL preferred) and confidence with core SQL
Experience with git or other version control systems
Experience in writing, using, and debugging RESTful APIs
An empathetic mindset (for our users and the rest of our team), the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively, and a willingness and desire to learn
Preferred
Next.js experience is also appreciated
Experience in an online marketplace is strongly preferred
