Responsibilities

Lead the development of a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with the organization’s mission, vision, and long-term goals.

Build and maintain relationships with high-level donors, philanthropists and corporations, ensuring a meaningful donor experience while aligning their interests with Solution Community’s mission.

Work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and other key leadership to shape and execute the development strategy, including major gifts and corporate partnerships, and align fundraising strategies with organizational priorities.

Ensure that major donors receive consistent and personalized recognition and stewardship, including regular updates on the impact of their gifts.

Leverage your own network and connections to develop new partnerships with individuals and foundations capable of contributing significant financial support.

Lead the Development Team, including grant writers, major gifts and corporate partnership leaders, to identify cross-functional opportunities for fundraising.

Establish and manage the fundraising budget, ensuring efficient use of resources to meet revenue targets.

Required

5+ years of experience in leading development efforts, with demonstrated success in securing significant gifts from high-net-worth individuals or philanthropists.

Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with major donors, understand their motivations, and align their giving with our organizational mission.

Experience developing and implementing successful strategies, including setting goals, tracking progress, and adjusting strategies based on outcomes.

Ability to craft compelling narratives that communicate the impact of Solution Community’s work and inspire philanthropic support.

Ability to lead and inspire a team, as well as work cross-functionally with other departments to achieve fundraising goals.

Familiarity with ClickUp, Slack, Titan Email & Calendar, and other digital tools for project management, communication, and scheduling.

Preferred

You are passionate about global social change and have the ability to connect deeply with philanthropists who share a similar vision.

You have strong organizational skills, and you are comfortable using technology to manage donor pipelines and coordinate efforts across a remote team.

You enjoy working in a collaborative, mission-driven environment and are motivated by the potential to make a meaningful, long-lasting impact on global communities.
