Responsibilities

Independently conducts technical economic, financial and policy research and analysis and makes recommendations to senior staff and management.
Helps produce the Public Advocates Office's policy analysis and advocacy related to distributed energy resources (DERs).
Researches and analyzes a variety of building decarbonization, distributed generation, and energy efficiency issues.
Writes reports, testimony and other materials, and assists with outreach efforts.
Represents ratepayer interests in workshops, working groups, industry and stakeholder meetings, legislative hearings or in other agency forums.

Required

Eligibility for the classification.
Experience in designing research, collecting data, conducting analysis using Excel or other computer-based quantitative tools, and making practical recommendations.
Experience writing and presenting reports that include findings, conclusions and recommendations.
Experience in establishing and maintaining cooperative and positive working relationships with others on internal and external teams.
Completed Application Packages including the State Examination/Employment Application STD Form 678, resume, and Statement of Qualifications (SOQ).
Submission of a copy of transcript or diploma if using education to meet minimum qualifications.
Verification of United States course/degree equivalency for foreign education.
