Responsibilities

Design, build and ship features of our services with a focus on Azure infrastructure and cross team coordination.

Be responsible for end-to-end software life cycle from design, implementation, CI, CD and to service reliability and recoverability.

Full engagement in agile-based software development including DRI rotation.

In-depth data analysis to identify service trends and make necessary adjustments and improvements of our services.

Constantly improve customer experience through quantitative service monitoring, alerting, and the use of data and operational dashboards.

Use your love of software to make the Liquid service even more reliable and amazing and increase customers trust on Microsoft!

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred

Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.

2+ years of experience working with cloud technologies such as Azure or equivalent.

2+ years driving projects across cross functional teams.
