Responsibilities
Drive the success of your aligned team including recruiting, hiring, training and development
Provide continual performance feedback to reinforce success of aligned sales representatives
Effectively manage your territory, understanding key performance indicators, details sales and market metrics, and assessment of business exceptions with successful results
Build strong relationships with brokers in your region, develop and implement smart marketing plans and continually assess outcomes to drive success in your region

Required
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience
Life and Health Insurance License
10+ years of regional production sales and sales leadership, specifically in Group Ancillary Life, Disability, Absence and Supplemental Health product lines
Demonstrated ability to achieve sales goals
Strong abilities in planning, organization, decision making and team management
Experience in successful development and implementation of marketing plans
Excellent relationship management skills
Thorough understanding of risk management principles and general underwriting concepts for all segment sizes
Travel required at 40-50%
