Responsibilities
Conduct needs assessments to identify community needs, land use constraints, and fundraising potential.
Assist in gathering data through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and research to understand community priorities.
Build and nurture relationships with community members, clients, donors, local organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
Facilitate meetings, workshops, and forums to encourage community participation in decision-making processes.
Contribute to the development of strategic plans that outline community development, land use, and fundraising goals.
Help create actionable plans with clear timelines, resource allocation, and financial projections.
Identify funding sources, grants, and opportunities for financial support for community development projects.
Provide support in grant writing and fundraising efforts to secure resources for our clients.
Collaborate with communities and clients to design and plan development projects that enhance the quality of life.
Participate in the development of project proposals, budgets, and comprehensive implementation strategies.
Assist in training community members and organizations in effective fundraising techniques and best practices.
Support program evaluation efforts by collecting and analyzing data to assess outcomes and suggest improvements.
Contribute to advocacy efforts by researching and analyzing policy options, making recommendations to stakeholders and policymakers.
Maintain accurate records of project activities, expenditures, and outcomes, and assist in preparing reports for stakeholders, funders, and community members.
Build and maintain relationships with professionals, donors, government officials, and other stakeholders, and assist in leveraging networks for fundraising opportunities.

Required
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Community Development, Urban Planning, Nonprofit Management, or a related discipline).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fully remote work environment.
Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Proficiency in data collection and analysis.
Passion for community development, land use, and fundraising efforts.
