Responsibilities
Developing and validating SAS programs for statistical analysis and reporting of clinical trial data.
Collaborating with biostatisticians to define analysis plans and statistical methods to be applied to clinical data.
Performing quality control checks on statistical outputs and ensuring accuracy and consistency in reporting.
Assisting in the preparation of statistical reports, presentations, and publications for regulatory submissions.
Contributing to process improvements by identifying efficiencies in programming practices and methodologies.

Required
Graduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Economics, or related disciplines), with 3+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or biotech industry.
Strong programming skills (SAS or R, and SQL): proficiency in writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex queries and statistical code for large datasets.
Experience with Real-World Evidence (RWE) analysis, particularly in observational and retrospective studies. Typical projects may involve disease burden, healthcare cost and resource utilization, comparative effectiveness, treatment outcome studies, and other related analyses.
Hands-on experience with claims data, particularly from Optum, Marketscan, or similar large healthcare databases: Candidates should be comfortable with navigating and analyzing administrative claims datasets, including identifying relevant variables, understanding healthcare coding (ICD, CPT, etc.), and managing large-scale data extractions.
