Responsibilities
Plan, implement, and oversee processes designed to mitigate risk.
Assist with developing, and implementing, the company's compliance program.
Coordinate with regulators to ensure that policies are current and properly maintained.
Draft and update company compliance policies and communications.
Schedule and assist with preparing mandatory training sessions for agents and head office staff.
Investigate and evaluate situations to ensure adherence to both company policies and state regulations.

Required
Experience in a Compliance role at a Carrier or IMO required.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage stressful situations with a positive, proactive attitude.
Dependable, trustworthy, and committed to following established guidelines and procedures.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Proficient in Office 365 with strong computer skills.
Outstanding analytical abilities and attention to detail.
Capable of thriving under tight deadlines and managing multiple priorities.
Friendly and effective in delivering challenging information via phone and email.
Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills.
Adaptable, open to constructive criticism, and able to work well under pressure.
Preferred
Strong knowledge of NAILBA, NAIC, state financial services regulations, and privacy laws is an asset.
Familiarity with financial regulations, agent/producer licensing, and compliant sales practices in other states is beneficial.
Bilingual in Spanish is a significant asset; willingness to learn Spanish is also considered a strong advantage.
