Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture framework, ensuring alignment with the health system's strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and interoperable IT solutions that enhance clinical and administrative processes.
Assess emerging technologies and their potential impact on the health system, recommending adoption where appropriate.
Work closely with clinical, administrative, and IT teams to understand their needs and translate them into effective IT solutions.
Establish and enforce architecture standards, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
Oversee major IT projects, providing technical guidance and ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT architecture and infrastructure, ensuring robust security and data protection measures are in place.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, staying current with industry trends and best practices to drive innovation.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a senior architecture role within a healthcare environment
Strong understanding of healthcare IT systems, including EHRs, HIS, and interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR)
Excellent leadership and project management skills
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proven track record of driving innovation and efficiency in a healthcare setting
Preferred
Master's degree
Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, ITIL, or PMP are highly desirable
