Responsibilities
Lead Data Governance Initiatives : Design and implement data governance workflows in Informatica, ensuring consistency, reliability, and transparency of data across the organization.
Data Lineage Implementation : Establish and maintain data lineage, offering comprehensive visibility of data origins, movements, and transformations within Informatica, and promoting data accountability across teams.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication : Be the “voice of Informatica” across the organization, clearly communicating the benefits and importance of data governance, and leading discussions with various teams to secure alignment and drive adoption.
Strategic Storytelling : Translate complex data governance concepts into compelling narratives, fostering understanding and enthusiasm among both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
MDM Strategy and Implementation : Oversee the implementation of Master Data Management (MDM) within Informatica, ensuring data consistency and integrity across business domains and applications.
Data Strategy Design : Develop and advocate for best-fit data strategies (centralized, decentralized, hybrid) tailored to business needs, ensuring effective integration with Informatica.
Integration and Workflow Optimization : Streamline data workflows, facilitating efficient and secure data access across the organization, and continuously seek opportunities to optimize and enhance data governance processes.
Documentation and Training : Create clear and concise documentation for data governance processes, and provide training and support to other team members and departments.

Required
10+ years of experience in Informatica, with deep knowledge of data governance, data lineage, and data management tools within the Informatica suite.
Proven experience with data governance workflows: Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing data governance processes in a mid-to-large enterprise.
Strong Communication and Storytelling Skills: Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts, tell compelling stories, and build consensus among diverse teams and stakeholders.
Initiative and Leadership: Proactive self-starter who can take initiative, lead projects independently, and drive the next steps in a complex environment.
Strategic Vision in Data Management: Knowledge of data architecture best practices, including centralized vs. decentralized data management approaches and their implementation within Informatica.
Experience with MDM and Workflow Solutions: Hands-on knowledge of MDM implementation and workflow optimization, with a focus on data quality, consistency, and accessibility.
Excellent Communication Skills: Comfortable speaking and presenting at all levels of the organization, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
Preferred
Certification in Informatica (e.g., Informatica Data Governance, MDM)
Experience with data architecture and strategy, especially within regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare)
Background in project management with experience driving cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementation.
