Responsibilities
Design, validate, and confirm new or changed functionality with BioMed integration applications such as Nant Health DeviceConX or Midmark IQ to meet customer specifications.
Work closely with business users, application teams, and technology teams to design, build, and execute a comprehensive integration and user acceptance test plan with supporting scripts as needed.
Gather requirements, perform gap analysis and create effective technical solutions to meet the business need.
Collaborate with teams across the enterprise to integrate, troubleshoot, and support the implementation of biomedical devices to include basic connectivity, HL7 data flows, data integration, and related clinical workflows.
Work with external customers, system vendors, facility-based BioMed engineering teams, application production support staff, and integration teams across Providence on implementation and support of systems.
Lead or participate teams to develop cross-regional standardization of the BioMed integration environment.
Represent Epic Biomed systems in IT quality control and change management for any BioMed infrastructure and application changes, including servers, connectivity, integration, and BioMed applications.
Develop and modify system configurations and provide complex qualitative and quantitative analysis
Analyze system requirements and determine system functional specifications
Conduct formal unit, assembly, integration, and user acceptance testing.
Define required processes, schedule dependencies, and task prioritization on the overall project roll-out plan.
Proactively identify the impact of changes upon other applications and downstream systems.
Monitor the production of recently migrated components.
Work with the leadership team to create detailed application designs that conform to application architecture guidelines.
Create and maintain all necessary documentation and training materials for technology and application implementation and changes.
Participate in on-call rotation for the area of responsibility as needed.
Travel - Must be able to travel by a variety of modes of efficient transportation to all client sites within the scope of the assignment.

Required
Minimum 5 years’ work history in IT or similar industry with demonstrated experience in BioMed integration, network engineering, or infrastructure software implementation.

Preferred
Previous experience in the healthcare industry, iSirona systems, and/or Biomed device integration is highly desirable.
Experience with HL7 or Interfaces is highly desirable.
