Responsibilities

Design, develop and support a world-class search platform serving individuals and businesses of all sizes

Produce multi-service code examples that reflect common customer journey and usage patterns.

Work in areas such as data storage, query optimization, JVM performance optimization, security, shard placement (bin packing problem), machine learning and more

Design and implement scalable, efficient solutions for applications using OpenSearch Dashboards

Build and optimize backend services supporting OpenSearch Dashboards features.

Produce bullet-proof code that is robust, efficient, and maintainable; primary language is Java.

Ensure code quality through comprehensive testing and code reviews.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
