Responsibilities

Manage the intake and review of reasonable accommodation requests, working closely with employees, supervisors, and other stakeholders.
Evaluate requests to determine eligibility and recommend appropriate accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Rehabilitation Act.
Act as a liaison between all parties involved, including medical professionals, to facilitate the implementation of accommodations.
Maintain detailed and confidential records of all requests and resolutions, ensuring compliance with TSA standards and federal guidelines.
Provide guidance and training to employees and managers on the reasonable accommodation process, employee rights, and workplace responsibilities.
Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of TSA’s RA Program by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and employee support.
Prepare reports on program activities, outcomes, and trends for management review.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
A minimum of three years of HR experience, with a focus on reasonable accommodation, disability management, or employee relations.
Strong understanding of the ADA, Rehabilitation Act, and other relevant federal regulations.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple cases and maintain detailed records.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to navigate sensitive workplace issues professionally.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR case management systems.

Preferred

Prior experience working in federal HR or a government agency.
Professional certifications such as SHRMCP, PHR, or similar credentials.
