Responsibilities

Develop and implement firmware for microprocessors tailored for communications hardware

Design and maintain CDC/ECM drivers to optimize communication protocols

Work with serial and network interfaces, specifically with controllers in radio communication systems

Assist in building a microcontroller as the core system and creating a device layer that controls external devices integrated with this core

Control external devices through network and serial interface programming

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components

Required

5+ years of experience in embedded hardware and firmware development

Remote Network Driven Interface Systems expertise in RNDIS for network communication setups

Strong programming skills in C for low-level embedded systems

Experience with building or working with Communications Device Class (CDC) / Ethernet Control Model (ECM) drivers

Ability to manage complex integrations in a hardware-software environment

Proficiency in TCP/IP and UDP network protocols, particularly in networking within communication systems

Hands-on experience with serial communication and network interface programming

Familiarity with microcontroller design and device control mechanisms

Preferred

Prior experience working with communications or radio systems
