Responsibilities
Monitor, moderate, interact, and respond to posts in the Reddit and Discord communities.
Create, coordinate, publish, and manage posts on the hiring company’s social media channels, including Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
Collaborate cross-functionally to promote content about new product releases, software updates, and other significant news.
Assist in creating engaging social media content, such as videos, images, memes, and blog posts.
Proofread, edit, and manage the social media content library; provide relevant content to cross-functional team members.
Ensure published content aligns with the brand, tone, and voice standards, maintaining consistency across all channels.
Stay informed about current social media trends, best practices, and potential channels relevant to the Marketing team.

Required
Located and authorized to work in the United States (East Coast) or United Kingdom.
Access to a reliable high-speed internet connection.
Demonstrated alignment with the hiring company's core values: taking ownership, working collaboratively, showing respect, being curious, and acting quickly and decisively.
Professional certifications and/or formal training in social media, community management, marketing, or related fields.
Exceptional knowledge of Reddit culture and trends, with a proven ability to navigate and engage with diverse subreddits.
Meme connoisseur - must stay up to date on the latest viral memes and internet phenomena to enhance community engagement and relevant content.
2+ years of professional experience managing an organization’s social media presence across multiple platforms independently.
Demonstrated experience collaborating cross-functionally to develop social media content, maintain content calendars, and generate content around upcoming product/feature releases.
Proven experience adhering to brand guidelines, communication standards, and established processes when publishing content, replies, or reposts from other creators.
A passion for online gaming and a strong understanding of content that resonates with the community at large.
Preferred
Experience with social media scheduling tools like Hootsuite, Sprout Social, and Buffer.
Understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) and its impact on social media content.
Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana.
Graphic design skills or experience in creating simple images for social media platforms.
Strong attention to detail; excellent written communication skills.
Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
