Responsibilities
Partner with the chief growth and development officer to create a comprehensive, strategic vision for company expansion, aligning with Connections' value proposition, products, and market dynamics.
Direct cross-functional efforts in growth planning, financial modeling, and forecasting to guide the enterprise's annual strategy.
Identify and evaluate multifaceted growth opportunities through RFPs, channel partnerships, joint ventures, and alliances to expand Connections' reach.
Work with cross-functional leadership to identify and implement new product development strategies aimed at increasing revenue.
Collaborate with finance leaders to plan, track, and forecast business development budgets, ensuring alignment with growth targets and managing budget variances.
Perform financial analysis for new contracts and partnerships in collaboration with finance teams, ensuring favorable unit economics.
Align growth plans, timelines, and decisions with cross-functional leaders to support efficient operational planning and budgeting.
Lead and develop a high-performance team focused on new market development and securing expansion opportunities.
Oversee the creation and refinement of business development presentations, partner marketing materials, and tools that enhance Connections’ market appeal.
Lead the adoption and optimization of business development tools, such as CRM systems and data analytics, to support growth objectives and value-based contracting strategies.
Establish an analytics and market research center of excellence, delivering competitive intelligence to drive data-informed market expansion and engagement strategies.

Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering, sciences, economics, or business from a top program
8 + years at a leading healthcare payer organization, healthcare provider organization, leading strategy consulting firm management consulting firm, or investment bank focused on healthcare vertical
A depth of experience in some or all the following healthcare sectors is essential for consideration: healthcare services, providers, payors, value-based care
Strong operational/project management skills with a proven ability to think strategically, set a vision, and execute, even amid ambiguity
Experience addressing complex strategic growth/commercialization problems in highly regulated environments in healthcare via flexible thinking and strategy development
Experience leading dynamic teams and high visibility initiatives to execute against timeline constraints in a high-pressured consulting environment
Strong relationship development skills with the ability to work effectively in matrixed environments internally and externally
Highly adaptable and capable of working in a dynamic, evolving environment
Clearly demonstrated strengths in oral and written communications, and ability to articulate value propositions to varied audiences
Clearly demonstrated market research and analytical skills with the ability to lead teams of analysts to effectively identify attractive business development opportunities
High degree of computer literacy using Word, PowerPoint, Excel
Ability to travel

Preferred
MBA or MHA from a leading program/institution
Several years of managerial experience reporting to a Senior Level Executive
