Responsibilities
Electrical Design and Analysis: Lead the design, development, and testing of electrical systems for defense-related projects, ensuring compliance with DoD requirements and industry standards (e.g., MIL-STD, IEC, IEEE).
System Integration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems into complex defense platforms, ensuring system reliability, performance, and safety.
Project Leadership: Oversee all aspects of electrical engineering projects, including scope definition, design, development, testing, and implementation. Ensure projects meet time, cost, and quality objectives.
Compliance and Standards: Ensure all designs and engineering processes comply with DoD regulations, safety standards, and security protocols. Stay current on relevant military standards and evolving industry best practices.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Technical Documentation: Prepare and review technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports. Ensure that all documentation is accurate, thorough, and well-organized.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks in electrical designs and systems and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project delays or technical challenges.
Client and Stakeholder Interaction: Communicate with DoD clients and internal stakeholders to understand requirements, provide project updates, and address any technical issues that arise during project execution.
Continuous Improvement: Lead or contribute to initiatives that enhance engineering processes, tools, and workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, and quality.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Electrical Engineering
Minimum of 7-10 years of hands-on electrical engineering experience, with a focus on DoD projects and systems.
Proven experience with military specifications (e.g., MIL-STD) and DoD design processes.
Expertise in electrical power systems, circuit design, analog and digital electronics, control systems, and signal processing.
Strong proficiency with electrical engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, PSpice, SolidWorks Electrical, ETAP).
Experience in system-level integration and testing, particularly in military or defense environments.
U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain or maintain a DoD security clearance
Preferred
RCDD Certification
Experience with high-performance defense systems, such as radar, communications, avionics, or weapons systems.
Familiarity with cybersecurity standards and protocols in defense systems.
Experience with systems engineering processes, requirements definition, and risk management.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
