Responsibilities
Develop, test, and implement new solutions for security challenges.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to identify, evaluate, and mitigate security risks throughout the product development lifecycle.
Work alongside member services and investment operation teams to assess and improve processes, identify risks, and create risk mitigation strategies.
Develop automation processes to manage, track, and recover from potential security incidents, along with reporting and remediating vulnerabilities.
Assist with investigations of potential incidents and responses.
Create security patterns for cloud systems and work in conjunction with platform engineering team members to implement them.
Evaluate new technologies, vendors, or processes that could enhance security capabilities and provide advice on their effectiveness within the business context.
Support and guide vulnerability testing, risk analyses, and general security assessments.
Contribute technical expertise to corporate security policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
Review existing security technologies, generate recommendations, and implement improvements when applicable.

Required
5 to 8 years of experience as a Senior Security Analyst, Penetration Tester, Senior Red Team Analyst, Risk Analyst, or Vulnerability Researcher.
5 to 8 years of experience in designing, building, or managing security controls in cloud environments or distributed systems.
Proven experience collaborating across multiple functions to deliver effective security capabilities.
Demonstrated proficiency in scripting and creating automations within complex environments.
Intermediate experience in operating systems support, development, or security hardening for Windows, MacOS, and Linux.
Strong background in securing distributed systems and web applications.
1 to 2 years of experience with infrastructure as code frameworks.
Familiarity with industry security frameworks such as SANS Top 20, CIS, NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, and OWASP.
Genuine interest in specific topics within the security industry.
Preferred
Experience at financial services firms or fintech companies is advantageous.
Ability to showcase a breadth of knowledge across the information security domain, including endpoint security, identity management, cloud security, detection engineering, vulnerability management, incident response, and threat intelligence.
Expertise in architecting, reviewing, and implementing security controls and automations in GCP.
Experience with AWS.
Proven experience implementing controls to comply with PCI, SOC I / II, or SEC Advisor rule guidelines.
Knowledge of data-centric or automatic data security solutions.
