Responsibilities
Customer visits, calls, manage lead inquiries and overall follow up (sales calls, messages, R&D, marketing)
Grow sales by developing and implementing account plans
Manage sales agreements and contracts
Seek out new growth opportunities and new customers
Present new products and data to customers
Set up presentations and special projects for customers
Negotiate pricing with customer purchasing departments
Customer lead follow up and tracking
Sample request for customers entered in CRM C4C system
Internal presentations as requested
Call reports, correspondence log, monthly / quarterly reports, sales & opportunity updates, forecasting and margin management
Maintain knowledge of competitive situations
Stay up to date on industry trends/issues
Attend industry events and trade shows including planning & executing customer meetings.

Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Marketing or other technical field
Must have oral and written proficiency in the English language.
Expertise in account management, price negotiations, project management and effectively managing customer relationships at all levels within an organization.
5+ years’ experience in chemical sales (specifically in 'Home Care'), with a proven track record of success
Highly motivated individual with strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and organizational skills required.
Must be a self-starter that can work independently.
Willingness to travel and visit customers 2 days a week.
Travel and visit customers a minimum of 30% of work time.
Able to walk, stand or sit for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
Required extensive travel—must be able to travel by plane and car and lift 30 pounds.
Preferred
Previous lab experience strongly preferred.
