Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Assist engineering team in maintaining various manufacturer’s equipment across multiple geographies, facilities, and data centers.
Monitor and report on the performance, availability, and cost of cloud and on prem services, identifying opportunities for optimization and cost savings.
Provide 4th level support and input as required to teams diagnosing reported issues, providing root cause analysis to management and the business teams.
Work with new hardware and software technologies and be able to understand and learn said technologies to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) as required.
Contribute to standards and design patterns. Deliver solutions tailored to internal business requirements.
Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, trends, and best practices, recommending and implementing innovative solutions to enhance our cloud infrastructure.
Create and communicate high-level design interaction diagrams, system functionality changes, packet modeling, data flow, and high-level interface specifications.
Create and refine knowledge management standards used to document current and future systems.
Enhances efficiency via automation when and wherever possible. Cross train other team members on projects, and network technologies.
Mentor network engineering team by sharing expertise to foster and expand a culture of professional growth within IT.
Provide routine status reports and updates.
Must be willing to travel within country to attend team meetings or design/orchestrate projects, on average 4 times per year.

Required

Minimum 10+ years working within networking any IT field required, experience with multi cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS).
Must be able to work closely with a small, geographically dispersed team as well as related technical teams such as Security, Implementations, and Clinical Application Development.
Aligned with strict adherence to Change Control Management policies, implementation standards and documentation processes.
Proven experience in developing and executing cloud migration strategies and implementing cloud security best practices.
Strong Knowledge in one or more cloud domains.
Successful leader in incident response and remediation, demonstrating service ownership and tenacious attitude of solving the issue completely (not band-aiding).
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components (e.g., networking, storage, compute) and their integration with cloud services.
Proficient in documentation and ability to draw in Visio for design docs and mapping.
Desire to drive change, and ability to adapt to change quickly. Recognized as a thought leader.
Your background may not include all the experiences outlined below, but you have a demonstrated track record of seeking new challenges, learning rapidly and delivering great results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred

Large enterprise networking a plus.
Experience with the Software Defined, Modern Networking technologies: SD-WAN, SD-LAN, NFV, Cloud networking, SSE/SASE, Next Generation Firewalls, Wireless, and Network observability.
Experience with the following technologies: MPLS, VRF, BGP, EIGRP, QoS, PBR, VSS, WAN Optimization and Network Access Control.
Experience with network segmentation, management, automation and orchestration tools (i.e. Python, REST, APIs, Cisco DNA center, others).
Experience with continuous integration and acquisitions.
Experience with interfacing with other technical and non-technical teams to gather design requirements is a plus.
Able to develop opportunities, pitch and deliver projects such as: Network Transformation, Network Roadmaps, automation and SD-WAN with SASE, Software Defined Data Centers, Data Management & Analytics, IoT, Remote Access, WAN Cost Optimizations etc.
Must be a team player, eager to collaborate, and adaptable.
