Responsibilities
Work independently as well as cooperatively to meet the fast paced deadlines of social media.
Develop, implement, and manage social media strategy across platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and others.
Manage employee social media advocacy and social initiatives.
Work with Brand team to create, curate and manage published content (images and video) and write content that is consistent with brand, style and tone.
Collaborate with other marketing leads to oversee and manage strategic social content plans that support brand campaigns, business unit content, customer stories, and thought leadership.
Support and collaborate with executive leadership, marketing, sales, product development and other teams around the world on social media activities.
Track and report on social media performance metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
Stay up to date on the latest social media best practices and technologies.
Monitor social media platforms, respond to comments and messages, and engage with followers to build relationships and foster community.
Monitor social media daily, identifying news that merits amplification, identifying potential issues or negative brand challenges, and responding to inquiries.
Work closely with Marketing Directors and Brand Team to ensure that proper content and messaging are executed online.
Conduct bi-weekly editorial meetings to collect ideas from team members, overseeing the editorial calendar.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, expected.
6+ years proven work experience as a social media specialist or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, best practices and tools (management, creative/production/analytics, etc.).
Social acumen: Possesses in-depth knowledge of social media platforms, including current trends and what’s coming next, and understands platform features and audience nuances that help drive content strategies.
Demonstrated strength in developing multi-form content.
Experience developing social media activities in support of complex technology/industries.
Creative mindset with the ability to innovate.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently, as part of a team and within a global organization.
Competence to collaborate with and educate senior executives on social media.
The ability to multi-task with efficiency, poise, and confidence in a fast-paced environment.
Genuine love of social media.
Advanced content creation skills for various marketing collateral.
Proficiency in using analytics tools for in-depth performance analysis. Ability to derive actionable insights from marketing data.
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to create compelling content for various channels.
Advanced project management skills to coordinate marketing activities. Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects, including prioritizing, scheduling, and adapting as necessary.
Skills coordinating and organizing events. Familiarity with event logistics and vendor management.
Ability to get things done, meet deadlines, and multi-task effectively.
Advanced understanding of digital marketing channels. Familiarity with social media platforms and content scheduling.
Basic analytical skills for tracking and reporting on marketing metrics.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Strong interpersonal skills.
High attention to detail for proofreading and quality control. Ensuring brand consistency in all communications.
Preferred
MBA or relevant master's degree, advanced degree preferred.
