Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts to validate functionality, performance, and security of applications.

Design and build reusable test automation frameworks to support multiple applications and platforms.

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define test cases, acceptance criteria, and requirements.

Write and execute automated tests using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.

Perform regression testing, load testing, and integration testing to ensure continuous quality assurance throughout the software development lifecycle.

Integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for faster feedback and delivery.

Debug, troubleshoot, and report issues found during automated testing, and work closely with developers to resolve them.

Maintain and update automation scripts to align with evolving product features and enhancements.

Ensure comprehensive test coverage by creating and managing test suites for both functional and non-functional testing.

Monitor and analyze automated test results and generate test reports for stakeholders.

Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, tools, and trends in software testing and automation.

Participate in the review and improvement of QA processes and automation strategies.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience in Quality Assurance, with a focus on automated testing.

Strong experience in test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium WebDriver, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar (depending on the automation toolset used).

Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts.

Experience in version control tools (e.g., Git, SVN).

Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bamboo) for test automation and integration.

Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (e.g., unit testing, functional testing, regression testing, performance testing).

Experience with API testing and tools like Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured.

Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required Security clearance.

Preferred

Federal Experience is a plus.
