Responsibilities
Ensure all vendor invoices are received, reviewed, and processed in a timely manner.
Facilitate monthly invoice payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with payment schedules and terms.
Execute daily and monthly entries for expenses, revenues, and adjustments.
Maintain accurate records in the general ledger, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
Monitor and manage customer credit limits and terms, assess creditworthiness, and liaise with relevant departments for approvals.
Oversee collection processes for outstanding payments, reduce bad debt, and escalate collection issues as needed.
Perform monthly reconciliations for all financial accounts, including AP, AR, and cash accounts.
Coordinate with the Finance Director to close accounts on time and address any discrepancies.
Prepare month-end and ad-hoc financial reports on cash flow, revenue, and expenses.
Assist with analysis to provide insights into operational and financial performance, helping to guide budgeting and forecasting.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience in accounting, preferably within the food, retail, or FMCG sectors.
Solid knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
Strong familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Fluent in French or Dutch, decent understanding of the other language
