Responsibilities
Identify and resolve routine outstanding claims under general supervision
Generate and analyze reports to address general patient account issues
Assist in the resolution of outstanding payments from past due accounts
Ensure timely receipt of claim payments and reconcile necessary data
Serve as a point of contact for customers and external vendors regarding inquiries and unresolved issues

Required
High School Diploma required
1 - 2 years of related experience
General computer skills with knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and email applications
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills to interact with customers and management
Preferred
Experience in healthcare insurance collections
Ability to mentor other staff members
Previous experience in a customer service role within a healthcare setting
Familiarity with compliance policies and procedures in healthcare
Strong interpersonal skills to foster teamwork
