Responsibilities
Using in-depth knowledge of the JD Edwards Manufacturing applications, as well as industry best practice expertise, consult with clients to provide cost effective solutions to solve business issues
Work collaboratively with project team and client employees to develop, test, and implement JD Edwards solutions.
Refine customer requirements in detail, document and present to the client for approval
Identifies and applies creative and innovative approaches to resolving product implementation and integration obstacles.
Analyze current systems and data to identify new requirements, recognizing the need for systems enhancements or modifications if necessary
Develop unit test scripts and coordinate with the client to perform the User Acceptance Testing of the system enhancements or custom solutions
Conduct and lead Conference Room Pilots (CRP) and User Acceptance Testing
Go-Live preparation and cut-over support
Post-production support

Required
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance, Engineering, etc.) expected.
Minimum 10 years of experience as a JD Edwards Manufacturing consultant
Strong consulting experience and business analytical skills to gather and document business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, business process designs, managing conference room pilots (CRPs), perform functional configuration, and manage testing of procurement ERP solutions
Ability to lead a team, work independently and manage multiple task assignments
Ability to maintain a positive attitude under stressful circumstances
Senior enough to be able to independently handle client expectations
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and communication skills
High commitment to exceed performance expectations
High degree of initiative, accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail
Professional approach when dealing with internal and external customers
Produce end-user and technical documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer
Proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Communication: proficient in English written and verbal communications. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Interpersonal skills: the ability to work effectively in a team and client-facing environment.
Multitasking: This role may involve working on multiple projects simultaneously, so strong multitasking and time management skills are essential.
Strong understanding: Various domains such as networking, systems administration, cybersecurity, cloud computing, software development, databases, etc. Understanding of business processes and how technology can be aligned with business goals. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals in a clear and understandable manner. In-depth knowledge of industry-specific technologies and best practices.
Strategic Leadership: Thought leadership for projects and require visionary leadership skills.
Client Management: Managing key client accounts and relationships at a high level is critical. Familiarity with different operating systems and software applications.
Industry Reputation: Building and maintaining a strong industry reputation and network are important.
Preferred
MBA or relevant master's degree, advanced degree expected.
