Responsibilities

Provide legal support and strategic guidance to the executive team and board of directors on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management.

Advise on legal issues related to the startup environment, including funding, equity, and private equity ownership.

Oversee the drafting, negotiation, and execution of sales contracts, partnership agreements, and other legal documents.

Ensure contracts comply with relevant laws and company policies while protecting the company’s interests.

Monitor and ensure compliance with international laws and regulations, particularly in the technology and cybersecurity sectors.

Stay updated on changes in legislation related to cryptocurrency and its implications for the business.

Provide guidance on tax implications of business transactions and ensure compliance with local and international tax laws.

Collaborate with external tax advisors to optimize the company’s tax strategy.

Manage the company’s intellectual property portfolio, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights, ensuring adequate protection for innovations.

Handle any disputes, litigation, or claims involving the company, including working with outside counsel when necessary.

Develop and deliver training programs for employees regarding legal compliance, contract management, and ethical business practices.

Undertake all responsibilities as Secretary to the Board of Directors.

Assist in navigating the legal landscape of international markets as the company expands its global footprint.
