Responsibilities

Writing estimates directly at customer homes, repair shops, or tow yards.
Assessing and finalizing estimates for auto claims.
Interacting with customers and shops through face-to-face, virtual, and written communication.
Investigating casualty claims by performing detailed reviews of damage and interpreting policies.
Evaluating and negotiating claims settlements with customers, vendors, third party carriers, and claimants.
Utilizing multiple tools to complete claims in a fast-paced environment, including estimate tools and job aids.
Ensuring timely and accurate documentation is completed for each claim.

Required

Must live in Amarillo, TX and be willing to travel and work claims in Amarillo.
Experience writing auto collision estimates using auto estimating programs such as: CCC One, Audatex, or Mitchell.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as part of the job requirements.
Ability to perform detailed reviews of damage and interpreting policies to determine coverage.
Ability to evaluate and negotiate claims settlements with customers, vendors, third party carriers and claimants.
Ability to utilize multiple tools to get the job done in a fast-paced environment, including estimate tools, job aids, and additional settlement platforms.
Ability to ensure timely and accurate documentation is completed as you work on each claim.

Preferred

18 months+ experience in auto Collision estimating using CCC or Mitchell.
Proficient written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with customers.
Strong attention to detail and ability to write precise and comprehensive estimates.
Comfortable with utilizing technology and various platforms for claims processing.
Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage multiple assignments effectively.
May be required to attend 1-week of training that will take place in Wheeling, IL.
As a condition of employment, your office/area may require you to obtain an adjuster and/or an appraiser license.
