Responsibilities
Support development of training courses in compliance with the Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) Nuclear Training & Qualification Program. Work will be performed remotely.
Provides specialized guidance and knowledge, and in-depth experience in the development, implementation, and management of Nuclear Training & Qualification programs supporting U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) nuclear facilities.
Knowledgeable of Instructional System Design (ISD) and Systematic Approach to Training (SAT), and familiarity with regulatory and programmatic requirements contained in with DOE Order 426.2, Personnel Selection, Training, Qualification, and Certification Requirements for DOE Nuclear Facilities, DOE-HDBK-1078-94, Training Program Handbook - A Systematic Approach to Training, and DOE-STD-1070-94, Criteria for Evaluating of Nuclear Facility Training Programs.
Candidate must be capable of providing high-level expertise in providing functional and technical support to top-level management.
Work activities include the integration of the best industry practices and risk reduction in developing and implementing nuclear training & qualification program documentation compliant with DOE regulatory requirements.
Must possess job knowledge and skills that enable identification, evaluation, and control of complex nuclear training & qualification program issues.
Experience as a qualified instructor delivering and facilitating instruction to a wide range of positions and skill levels.

Required
Bachelor’s degree (minimum).
20 years of experience.
Must be US citizen.
Successful drug screening.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security or clearance badge.
