Responsibilities

Monitoring of the products and services for availability, security, reliability, and scale

Document and codify best practices around operational behavior of services

Build the infrastructure that supports Incident triaging, troubleshooting, remediations, and post mortems

Build, manage CI/CD infra for dev, staging, production environments

Monitor and maintain security best practices within code development

Track and perform tasks towards maintenance of annual SOC2 compliance controls

Create and communicate on-call schedules and processes to the broader engineering teams

Document and communicate design decisions with the broader team to support a remote, asynchronous work culture

Function independently while being able to make technical choices in the presence of unknowns

Collaborate cross-functionally with other engineering leaders

Take active interest in understanding customer problems while building features in an iterative manner

Adapt SRE practices and processes quickly to scale with a fast growing startup and product
