Responsibilities
Lead and guide CFD team of engineers to implement new methods of efficient thermal management.
Lead/collaborate with program team to understand current vehicle thermal energy consumption and frame the right under hood/body/cabin thermal environment.
Continuously innovate and search for CFD improvement focusing on accuracy, efficiency, capability.
Ensure high quality CAE results and solutions throughout the design process. Frame an optimal CFD complexity tradeoff between accuracy, timing and cost
Make technical recommendations on design optimization, issue resolutions and countermeasures, based on engineering judgment and interpretation of CAE results.
Document all CAE work and results to ensure tasks traceability.
Work closely with industry experts inside and outside the company to ensure awareness of the latest available technology and maintain Ford’s leading position in CFD front.

Required
3+ years of experience work in the CFD field.
Demonstrated expertise in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) process development with extensive knowledge in available CFD technology/software and it’s limitations.
Master in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or equivalent with focus on CFD.
Preferred
PhD preferred.
Knowledge of statistical tools and methodologies; 6-sigma Black Belt preferred.
Familiarity with vehicle under hood/body components and associated CAD especially for EVs; preferred for ICE and xEVs.
